A Letter From adbeast
Founder/CEO, Steve Hancock
I am pleased to announce that adbeast has been acquired by MIJO, a North American leader in digital television and radio spot distribution.
With the advertising industry rapidly becoming media neutral and truly content driven, adbeast sought to deepen its resources to meet the challenges and opportunities this change presents to our clients and users.
As one of the most respected and progressive digital media management companies MIJO provides these resources in spades.
Combining forces with MIJO allows us to create a collaboration platform and comprehensive suite of services that can manage every aspect of the creative process from concept to final distribution across any media. This is an offering that is unparalleled in the industry.
With MIJO also based in Toronto and all of the adbeast team staying on board to ensure client and service continuity, I am confident the transition will be smooth and efficient.
I look forward to introducing you to MIJO and the new services we will be able to provide. In the meantime please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
In closing I would like to personally thank everyone who has used and supported, encouraged and advised adbeast over the past ten years. We can be proud of what we have built together, and now as division of MIJO, be excited about what we will become.

The weekend kicked-off with a SCVNGR Trek that had advertising creatives scouring the streets of Boston for clues that would ultimately lead them to a secret destination where they could meet the judges. We weren’t surprised by the high turnout of participants given the judges hailed from firms such as BBH, Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners and Wongdoody to name just a few.
Judging took place at the PARTNERS+simons office, where judges reviewed and voted on their favourite creatives using adbeast powered iPod touches.
